Eva was a stand out member of staff. There was confusion with the method of payment for the accommodation, which Eva dealt with professionally and to whom we owe gratitude. She was always very helpful and friendly. Nico the concierge was also extremely helpful and booked tickets for us to visit museums and galleries. Breakfast was lovely with a selection of various options. Both cold and hot foods available.

The Westin Excelsior is simply the perfect hotel in Florence. The location and service are impeccable. It is an impressive and historic building, beautifully maintained and in spot condition. Beds are so comfortable and sheets are soft. Breakfast includes all the choices you would expect for such a hotel.

My husband and I came to The Westin for our honeymoon and had the time of our lives. Exploring Florence is wonderful in and of itself but having a spacious, quiet and clean room to go back to at the end of the day made our adventure so much more comfortable. It was also such a treat to return to the room to find celebratory Champagne and Christmas treats. This is a very special property with a wonderful staff - we cannot wait to recommend to friends and return one day in the (hopefully near) future.

Service at the 5th floor was bad. I waited 10 minutes for a waiter and only could get one after I intervened Twice. Thx were clearly overwhelmed and slow. Very disappointed.

We were here on our honeymoon and the property was kind enough to upgrade us to a beautiful room on the Arno! So quiet and barely heard any noise the entire stay. The breakfast was incredible! Highly recommend for a sophisticated stay in a great area of Firenze!
